Carmen has been an asset to our co-curricular program at Mancel College.

Since her arrival she has made her activities her own, establishing positive and collaborative connections and relationships with students and staff members alike. This has achieved growth within the program.

Carmen runs 2 art classes and 1 dance class per week and works independently within the parameters of our school community. She works closely with me as the co-curricular coordinator to ensure child safety and consistency of communication, processes, and procedures, however she does not need to be managed to achieve these outcomes. This allows me the time and space to get on with my job, confident that she is getting on with hers and that the students are growing as dancers and holistic young people.

I have two young girls who just love getting to try all sorts of fun activities with Carmen. My four-year-old is usually very shy, but is so taken with Carmen's fun energy. Both look forward all week to coming to Kidz Club, where they can let their creativity loose with art projects, dancing and playing musical instruments, with an underlying focus on their emotions.

Longer holiday classes are also a big hit and give parents a reprieve. Carmen has a great connection with children, especially those with different needs.
